Growing up in Harlesden in the early days it was music everywhere, so it was inevitable I had to be involved. In the early seventies myself and a few close friends got together and formed a sound system called The President Downbeat, the best known member was `Daddy Ernie and then being influenced by such sounds as The Peoples Sound from Mortimer Road days,Neville the Enchanter, Duke Vin and the great King Trojan of Burtonsdaysamong many others.
